100% Peruvian Pima Cotton, the finest cotton on earth.

Pima cotton originates from Peru and, thanks to the excellent natural conditions of the fields located in the north and the hand-harvested system that does not damage the fiber and reduces the carbon footprint, it is classified as one of the best cottons in the world.

Extra long staple fibers

The main difference with all other types of cotton lies in the length of the fiber: Pima cotton is an extra-long fiber measuring 38-41mm while other fibers only reach 20-32mm. This characteristic makes Pima cotton softer to the touch and more durable than other types of cotton.

Pima cotton´s fibers have a smoother surface and results in a softer fabric that resists pilling. This means your product will be soft to the touch and it will stay this way over time.

Pima cotton is twice as strong as regular cotton, which makes for extraordinarily resilient products. Its fibers resist pulling, breaking and tearing, resulting in a resilient and long-lasting product that keeps its form.

Lasting Color

The thin fibers absorb dye better with a deeper, long-lasting penetration. This results in a product that retains color and brilliance over time, even after washing and wearing.

In Common Culture we seek simplicity, minimalism and functionality. We strongly believe in deconstructing consumerism by creating innovative, long lasting products.
